Maximo Park are playing twice at Glastonbury this year, and we have something extra special planned!
The band are officially opening this year’s festivities on Thursday at 4pm on the Queens Head Stage as the first of 2 performances. And the setlist will be entirely chosen by you, the fans!
Visit our official Facebook profile to vote for the songs you want to be played at such a momentous occasion! The top 10 voted for songs will be played at this gig. Even if you’re not going, give people there a show they’ll never forget!

This is a truly awesome idea  . Now all I have to do is pray that all nice people vote for “Warehouse”, “An Unknown” and “Obstinate Ideas”. Please  .
Btw, what about doing this for each gig now  .

You HAVE to include Stay and I Havent Seen Her Ages…hah despite the fact they're very low in the runnings there!

Saw about this on FB earlier and was so so so excited, even though i'm not getting to the festival until Sunday 
I have no idea what to choose, but it's good to see that some of the b-sides are getting some votes currently. 
(Although I haven't heard most of the b-side tracks listed there - bad fan  )

Don’t think it would go down too well if they played that:

The alternative would be just as awkward I'm afraid, asking the audience to leave… .
