I can't stand the rain no more and we had a couple of bad thunderstorms today. But I've been to 4 brilliant gigs the last 4 days, I've seen Oasis twice at Manchester and yesterday and today And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead, yesterday an acoustic gig, today the real thing, I'm almost deaf and dead, but happy Kiss

Garp, you seem to spend almost as much time in the UK as you do in Germany. Are you thinking of moving there? Laugh

Is it true that you will get the money for the first Oasis show back because they had too many technical problems? It was on the news on RTL2! Laugh

I just came home and I'm shocked by the news that Michael Jackson is dead. I wasn't a big fan, but “Bad” was one of my first records I ever bought. So famous, so rich and still not a happy life Frown R.I.P. Michael Confused

I found this bit of Northeastern England trivia about the Angel of the North interesting. If you're not familiar with the Angel of the North, you can read about it here.

In that Wikipedia article, it states:

“An additional bronze maquette used in fundraising in the 1990s, owned by Gateshead Council, was valued at £1 million on the BBC show Antiques Roadshow on 16 November 2008. This was the most valuable item ever valued on the show.”

(Gateshead, btw, is across the Tyne from Newcastle.)

Well i've had the same reccurring dream (3 in total now) over the last 2 months about Blur….namely Damon Albarn, which have been pretty peculiar to say the least.

Still, I wish Damon would be 'rude' to me..Laugh Embarassed

He wasn't being rude to me in a good way. He was snubbing me. Even when his mother invited me over for a chat.
