Well, it wasn`t really stormy, it was just unexpected rainy and most of the people were not prepaired for non stop rain at all - only a small part of the entire audience made it to the end.

The firemen came because there was a giant sun on the top of the stage:

When it rained it deflated and there was a lot of water on it, so they were worried that it might crash down. We all had to step back and a giant fire truck drove up with a huge ladder to get the water down:

I`ve never seen something like that before.

What a bummer!!! I had to leave at 9pm, I was about to freeze myself to death, I MISSED THE PARK!!! It was horrible, I got a bad cold now and still can't believe I had to miss out a Maximo-gig, if anyone ever told me before I'll leave a festival early before the Park I'd have called him nuts. At least I had the concert in Freiburg on Thursday and really enjoyed it, so much better than last October! I loved the slightly new versions of the old songs plus the 2 new songs they played sounded good though I can hardly make up my mind after one listen. They were closer to QTH than to ACT and both had a massive chorus and guitars at the end.

I uploaded my pics from Freiburg on flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/garp1978/

My name is Garp and I’m a Maximoholic.
