I got an email from gigs and tours saying this:
“The last time Maximo park announced a uk tour, back at the start of the year, the news was greeted with nothing less than overwhelming enthusiasm from the general population - they sold out all venues in Newcastle,Leeds, Manchester and London in less than an hour ( with Newcastle in particular going in 10 minutes flat) , with ticket's exchanging hands on ebay for upwards of hundreds of pounds. If you missed them there you owe it to yourself not to miss them this time around”
Is it just me or is that really wrong of a 'legitimate' ticket site to be letting you know what the ticket's could be worth?. I now doubt I will get standing ticket's tomorrow for R.A.H. as Gigs and tours have tipped off the tout's big time . Also people are selling 2 standing ticket's for R.A.H. on ebay now for 124.99!!!….. git's

If I were you I would try tomorrow.
They may release more standing tickets - they have been known to hold some back
for general sale day.

I'm with you, it's just like an invitation for touts though I fear for years that legitimate ticket sellers and touts work together, touts just get a ridiculous amount of tickets for “high-profile” gigs every time!!!

@ Garp - Yep I have thought that too. It's too much of a coincidence that tout's always get through to buy in demand ticket's and when it's a seated event they always have the front center seat's to flog!!.
I know with the standing one's, like the one's on sale today, it probably was easy for them to get as they are probably signed up to every mailing list to get pre-sale's but when you see some seller's on Ebay that have an array of choice ticket's you have to wonder why they aren't being quetioned .
@Robk - That sound's like HELL!!. Some place's actually tell you off for bouncing about at your seat . I love being in the thick of it it adds to the experience I love looking like a limping, drowned rat after a gig .

Is there any other way to look after a gig?
I managed to get the Glasgow and Manchester tickets easy enough - except messed up the booking fee thing, only realised after i got the first lot that you can 'basket' all the various tickets with crowdserge and then pay one booking fee! oh well. Will try for RAH tomorrow, but if i don't have any luck i may resort to scarlet mist.

Eeerrr…….Nope
I got Glasgow ticket's easily enough but not R.A.H. I bought the Glasgow ones first and now I keep wondering whether I would of got R.A.H. if I clicked on it first . Never mind I will try my best in the morning if I get them then YAY! but if not it's too bad and not meant to be .

I missed out on RAH tickets yesterday by 10 mins. Work just gets in the way sometimes…
MUST get them today, fingers crossed.
As for the tickets on ebay - they make my blood boil as it is purely UNFAIR that unscrupulous touts make money at the expense of true fans and the band itself.
