erm, seriously? mucky is another word for dirty. making marks on the dirty floor - drawing lines on it.

891.73 is the Dewey Decimal number used in libraries for books that are classified as Russian literature.
It never occurred to me that “we'll meet in Russian literature” might involve a library. Hmmmmm.

And I was thinking that the reference to meeting again in Russian Literature was something to do with doomed lovers.

i always thought library. but not cause of numbers. I used to meet up in the classics corner with my friend's sister. strictly a study thing though.
